DIY Rice Water Toner

Hello natural beauties <3

Rice water hydrates, softens, brightens, shrinks pores and tones the skin. It's also anti-aging, it promotes new cell growth, acts as a natural sunscreen, and helps to protect your skin against free radicals. Rice water contains vitamins B1, E and C, as well as minerals. For many years, a lot of women in Asian cultures used rice water to cleanse their skin. I also read awhile back, about how elderly workers in a sake factory in Japan had such youthful hands. Rice water had a big roll in keeping their hands so young and spot free. After learning about how rice water can do such wonders for the skin, of course I was going to try it lol. ^.^

It's all natural and you'll know what's in the toner that you're using. You could buy rice toners from skincare stores but sometimes, that special ingredient has such a low percentage and then there's added chemicals and/or additives in the product. So in the end you're using something harsh on your skin and your not getting full benefits of that ingredient.

Now let's start on making this awesome toner!
The things you will need are:
- Jasmine rice
- Water
- Small bowl
- Container or toner bottle
- Measuring cup or just a regular cup

Step 1: To make this awesome Rice Water Toner, first you will need to rinse about 1 cup of jasmine rice. This step is very important because, that first rinse you do will remove the dirt from the rice. Place the rinsed rice in a bowl and cover it with water. Then let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. This will allow all the excess vitamins and minerals to fuse with the water~ ^.^

Step 2: Now that 15-20 minutes has past you can now drain the rice.Putting the water into a container or toner bottle and the rice into a separate bowl. Don't throw away the rice, it's still perfectly fine to cook!

Step 3: Lastly seal up your rice water and then place it in the fridge. It should be good for up to 4-5 days, if it's sealed tightly and refrigerated.

And there you have it, your very own rice water toner! It's super simple and easy to do, you'll be saving money and you'll be giving your skin a wonderful treat~

You can also use the rice water as a cleansing wash, just massage it gently onto the face for about a minute or less and don't rinse it off. Keep it on your skin and let it air dry~ Another way you can use rice water is on your hair to wash it. ^.^

I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you can also try this DIY out~ ^.^ How would you use rice water? As a toner, face cleanser or a hair wash?

Until next time, take care lovelies~ <3 :3
