Bet you didn’t expect to see me right now, did you? After a months long hiatus, I’m making a brief return to let you know whats been goin on with me and how my year was with my 2016 year in review!
Ok, I get that was sort of a dramatic intro, but thats kind of how I am lol. ;)
2016 Year In Review:
2016 was such a strange year for me. There were a lot of highs and a lot of lows. I remember reading my horoscope at the first of the year and it said that this was gonna be my year…..well, that was partly true. At the beginning of 2016 I was very hopeful about what was to come. I had finally started getting my Body back into shape and eating right and I felt the best I had felt in a long time! I guess what they say about treating your body right is true!
In June of this year I finally applied for admissions to my communtiy College and starting my first summer semester! I’m 28 now so it’s safe to say that I waited a long time to finally go back. I’ve been loving college and how it challenges mentally and at times physically (due to lack of sleep). I’m now into my third semester and am so excited about my future!
Since I’ve been going to school full time, I had no idea how difficult it would be to juggle 5 classes and a blog which is why I’ve been MIA lately. It makes me kind of sad that I haven’t been able to keep up the blog along with classes but school to me right now is my #1 priority. I don’t plan on closing up shop on my blog, I would rather just look at this current period of time as a brief haitus. I hope that you will still follow along w/ me on all my social medias until I’m back fully!
Lastly, to look at the year as a whole, it was pretty crap! We all went through hell with the election season and the future ahead looks very scary but I can only hope that there will be good things ahead. I’m praying a lot more than I used to and very aware of issues in the world that have become extremely important to me. Here’s to hoping 2017 will be much better!
