Simply Be offer gorgeous clothing in a great range of sizes and as a plus size woman this is important. Many hour has been spent trawling through high street shops trying to find fashionable clothing in bigger sizes and let's just say the search did not go well. Not until I tried Simply Be.
I set myself a budget and I had an idea of what I was after, something different and that was not my usual style. It was time to step out my comfort zone and get a new look. So what did I choose? Read on and see.
First I headed to the day dress section! My legs being on show is a rare sight but as the rest of me tans, they end up looking like milk bottles so time to get some sun on them (if it ever appears)
This caught my eye straight away, cute and fun it had to be bought. The Gorgeous tie front playsuit is so comfortable and the shorts section are not too, well short. The material is soft and will keep you cool during the warmer weather. It can be worn during the day or with the right accessories, can be worn on a night out. I teamed it up with my favourite canvas boots. A bargain at £24
Next on my "I need this" list, was this gorgeous floral print frill cold shoulder Dress. I love this dress, however, I wish I had ordered a smaller size as it does hang quite loosely and it made the dress look far too big for me so I personally would order a size down. The dress itself has two layers and sits just on my knee. I am a fan of the cold shoulder style as it is different. Again, the dress is teamed up with my favourite boots and can be worn day or night. £35 is not a bad price at all.
I needed a new pair of jeggings and I found a gorgeous pair of bootcut jeggings for a great price and in a selection of colours and lengths. I went for blue regular but when they arrived and I tried them on they were really long but they can be easily taken up. I got a size bigger and I am glad I did as they run small in the waist. They are very comfortable when on and I teamed them up with my boots and my cold shoulder casual top. They were a total bargain at £15.
Last on my list was this stunning statement necklace. Now, normally I would go for something simple and small but I wanted this as soon as I set eyes on it. The colours are bright and summery and the necklace itself is chunky and a little heavy but that is not a bad thing as you know it won't snap! £9 for a beautiful piece of jewellery that will go with most items in your wardrobe.
I found it so hard to choose from Simply Be's amazing range, I decided to stick to their own range rather than go for other brand names as I honestly preferred what they had to offer.
Overall I am delighted with the clothes I got and there is a chance the school run will look a lot more glamorous for me. It is amazing how a new outfit can make a massive difference to your confidence and outlook. Trying new looks is a great way to come out your Comfort Zone and still be you.
