Well, it has certainly been an interesting year for me, Sadly not in a good way!! So what's been happening? 

I have been unwell for almost a year now with many different Symptoms.  Heart palpitations, hot flushes, insomnia, fatigue, muscle aches and headaches to name a few (I could go on and on trust me).  My guess on what is happening is - HORMONES. More specifically Perimenopause.

For the last year I have been fighting with the doctors to get a diagnosis.  They tell me my symptoms suggest perimenopause but don't believe it can be that due to my age. Frustrating much.  I have been to A&E at least 5 times with varying symptoms and each time they can't find an issue.  My sinuses have been terribly inflamed since February, the consultant said it is most likely linked to hormone issues as that can make women more susceptible,  Each visit has ruled out deficiencies, electrolyte imbalances and heart issues.. I even had a CT to check my brain which was also fine.

Recently I had bloods taken to check everything again but this time they agreed to check my hormone levels.  I should get the results next week,

Fingers crossed they come back showing levels that prove I need HRT,
