As you know, back in February I started the research into mental health services in Scotland with the view to submitting a Petition to the Scottish Parliament highlighting the need for change. Well on Tuesday 14th the petition was opened for public signature.
It took a few little adjustments but it is finally up and running and will close on July 27th. After that date I will have a long wait to find out what is happening next as that date falls in the middle of the parliament's summer recess so it will be September before I know.
I may be called to meet with the Public Petitions Committee to speak about my petition and it will be taken from there.
There is still quite a long way to go but the ball is rolling and hopefully change will be implemented.
For this wishing to sign the petition you can do so here it is only open for Scottish residents but once I have completed this campaign, I plan on tackling the UK.
