I've noticed that my Fruit and veg tend to go off quickly, especially in the warm weather. I have tried different things but it still happened. The wonderful people at Ecoegg may have just come up with a great solution.
The fresher for longer discs are great for helping your fruit and veg last for longer meaning you will not have as much waste. They are really simple to use. You can put one in your fruit bowl, fridge and you can even put one in your lunch box to keep your lunch nice and fresh, no-one wants a warm yucky apple or banana now do they? As you can see from the picture above, I chose to put mines in my fridge as that is where I keep my fruit and veg and off I went to buy some to see if this little Disc really did work and do you know it really did. It always annoys me how veg goes off so quickly and I don't want to really buy frozen veg all the time. I noticed the vegetables I did buy, carrots and parsnips and the fruit, apples and grapes, after one week still looked as fresh as when I bought them the week before!! Oh and yes they still tasted really good too.
The Fresher for Longer discs do not have any nasty chemicals and each disc lasts for three months! There is a space on the disc where you can write the date you started to use the disc to keep you right.
