Stanley Park was number one on my list. I wanted see the Sea Wall. How would I go around it? Bike or rollerblade? I chose Rollerblading. I first learned rollerblading when I was 8 years. There is always something nostalgic about rollerblading. My mum use to take us to the riverside to go rollerblading (the kiddy ones with bad bearings).
It was always fun. As I tightened the buckle on the skates, I remembered those childhood memories, especially first few hours trying to learn how to skate.
I was carefree. So like a child, I simply enjoyed my afternoon rollerblading around the Sea Wall. It’s also a good idea to get plugged in with your favourite beats and music.
I even imagined myself living in Vancouver…when I retire haha. Condos are so expensive.
I think what make’s Vancouver special is Stanley Park. That land could have been a shipping ports or be full of condos, but Vancouver is so awesome that’s always been green space for everyone to enjoy.
The views from the park is SO amazing:
If you look closely, it didn’t rain that day. Even if it rains, it would still be worth going to experience Raincouver. But if it’s sunny on your first day of the trip, always go. It would probably rain the next day.
Rollerblade rent: CA$18 for 3 hours
