Cycling in Toronto

Evening Bike Ride

When I stayed in The Beaches, I borrowed a Bike from the family I was staying with. I bike almost daily to Downtown and it was quite pleasant most of the time.

Biking in Toronto was really convenient and safe. The only gripes was the one time, the wheels got stuck in one the tram rails, which I almost crashed.

The bike was woman’s bike, I didn’t care. It was just a road bike to me. On one sunday evening, I rode along one of the trails called Don Valley Parkway. I believe it’s one of the best bike trails in Toronto.

The plus side was I got to save money than to spend on $3.00 TTC tokens. The streetcar is interesting at first, but the novelty died quite quick. Cycling is always the cheapest and best way to get around downtown. Just don’t ride in the rain like I did.
