Most men understand that the person they are at 40 is not the person they are at 20, and in many cases, that’s a good thing. Age, wisdom, and the sheer privilege of growing older, something which is unfortunately not afforded to everyone, are all things to be tremendously grateful for. However, it’s also true to say that your capabilities change as you get older.  As an active, interested, productive guy, being told to get to bed and sleep more might not seem like the most enjoyable advice. Your body really does need it though. In order to recover and feel nourished after each long day, you need to get a full eight hours, sometimes even a little more. You need to be structured with your sleep too, so your body can properly enter REM and heal. A chronic lack of good sleep can raise your risk of health issues like cancer tremendously, affect your mental health, and of course, plummet your energy levels.

Supplement Well

 Supplementing with healthy contributions to a balanced and nutritious diet is a great way to round off your intake and give your body everything that it needs. For example, Vitamin D, especially during the winter, made more bioavailable by Vitamin K in kind, is essential for immune system regulation and will help you feel more alert and active on a daily basis. That’s always a healthy outcome to shoot for. You might also opt for fish oil to protect your joints, online TRT, or relaxing supplements like valerian root if you’re having trouble falling asleep but would prefer, understandably, to miss the prescription sleeping tablets.

Balance Your Schedule
