Summer Recap

Stephs Cheers and Jeers received samples mentioned in this post in exchange for being featured on our site.

This Summer has been so exciting! It was pretty eventful with the birth of Thomas. We also had some downs with the death of our cat Trina. Even though it had ups and down’s it was still a wonderful time and feel like this year has just flown by! I can’t believe we are already in August and that Fall is fast approaching.

As Summer is coming to an end, here are a few products I discovered this Summer that I really enjoyed.

Cocktail Kits by The Cocktail Box Co

Summer for me ALWAYS means it’s Margarita time!

The Cocktail Box Co makes travel-sized cocktail kits, just add the spirit and you have everything to make 3-6 cocktails. They currently offer a variety of different cocktail kits including  The Old Fashioned, Champagne Cocktail, Moscow Mule, Gin & Tonic, Mai Tai, Margarita, Mojito, and Manhattan. I really love that each kit also features mini bar tools such as a muddler spoon, cocktail picks, and coaster.

These kits are adorable and super fun to pull out when entertaining guests.

You can purchase a kit of your choosing for $22.99.

Skinny Can Insulator by Grand Fusion Housewares

Nothing beats a cold drink in the summer of summer!

The Skinny Can Insulator by Grand Fusion Housewares is designed to keep 12-ounce skinny can drinks ice cold. The silicone non-slip base helps prevent spills and the double-wall vacuum top gasket seal keeps the cold in so your drink will stay nice and icy cold.

The Skinny Can Insulator is available in blue, purple, black, white, and yellow and sells for $19.99.

Tens Alkaline Spring Water

Staying hydrated is SO important!

Tens Alkaline Spring Water is sourced from a natural spring in the Appalachian Mountains and 10ph and is the #3 alkaline brand in the country. I read the backstory about their springs and was really intrigued by the fact that their water is sourced from underwater caves and flows directly from these caves into their nearby bottling facility via a sealed delivery system. Their water is available in multiple sizes including .5 liter bottles, 1-liter bottles, 1.5-liter bottles, 1 gallon, 12 oz cans, and multi-packs.

Use their store locator to find their products near you.

I am slightly obsessed with candles.

Scented Designs is a small candle business out of California that was launched by Kate De Palma and launched in 2006. Since they have created thousands of candles for individuals and companies like PayPal and Ellenos Yogurt.

I am obsessed with their Island Vibes and Coastal Breeze Candles because they really teleport me to a nice vacation spot all while in the comfort of my own home. I love these since due to COVID we canceled all of our travel plans.

You can purchase one of their hand-poured candles for $18.

Zulay Kitchen

Nothing beats hand-squeezed lemonade in the summer!

Zulay Kitchen offers up a range of products including popsicle molds, milk frothers, water bottles, and more. I LOVE homemade lemonade in the summer but I aboustely HATE dealing with lemons. That is where Zulay Kitchens Lemon Lime Squeezer comes in handy. It is made from durable rust-resistant metal and is very high quality. In fact, this is one of the nicest ones I’ve personally ever used.

You can purchase the Zulay Kitchen Lemon Lime Squeezer for $18.99.

Their 1 liter Fruit Infusion Water Bottle is perfect to pair with the lemon-lime squeezer because you can fill it with homemade lemonade and easily infuse it with fruits such as strawberries.

You can purchase the Zulay Kitchen Fruit Infusion Water Bottle for $14.99.

Hohbeestore

I have a secret…I am a plant murderer

Hohbeestore was kind enough to send me alone one of their Easy Plant Pots which require little attention and best of all are self watering which is something I am horrible at doing. The pot also came with pafcal which is a soilless growing method popular in Japan. The Easy Plant Pot is really low maitence and hopefully it will help me keep this little lovely plant I bought alive.
