Mix & Match: Favorite Product Combos

Out of the number of skin care and makeup items you have in our vanity table, maybe you’ve tried mixing one to three items in one use. You may have used three foundations to get that long lasting perfect Shade; those favorite lipsticks of yours must have been in action simultaneously. Or you love to combine two scents to have that distinct smell.

For me, these are the products that I like to mix:

Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer + Quick FX No-Shine Mattifier

This is a product of my I’ll-go-outside-but-I-don’t-want-to-put-makeup-on and the I-don’twant-to-become-a-grease-ball kind of day. The Quick FX No-Shine Mattifier may not keep your face mattified the whole day but it’s still reliable if you’ll only be running errands outside the house. I love its combination with Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer because they are both gel type and they mix well together. What I usually do is to add a little amount of the mattifier to the moisturizer.

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick "Mauvey" + Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick "Queen Bee"

I find the Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey too light for my complexion but I still like it anyway. This attraction happened when I first saw it in the flesh. But the likeness started to fade away and I’m sure I won’t repurchase this. Until Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick pop in to the scene. I tried dabbing a little of this red lipstick after I swipe the light pink shade and it turned out to be the right shade of pink that I want.

This is what it looks like on my lips:

Colour Collection Blush & Contour Duo "Sweetheart"

I’m so glad that the Contour Powder here is more of a dark peach instead of the usual skin color shade. The Blush is a bit shimmery which is... okay, but I’m not a fan. It's still a nice shade, though. Since I’m more drawn to peach and matte blushes, I decided to top the blush with the contour powder. And violà, a nice peach blush!

Here's a swatch of the blush and contour combined (left) and the blush alone (right). It might register as the same shade but believe me, blush x contour = peach.

And that’s it, ladies! Do you also have favorite product combinations? Comment them below.
