Clovers nose

Summer 2015, I had taken Clover out for a walk.  I was ahead of her walking and didn’t notice she was standing in place sniffing away.

I pulled on the leash to hurry her along and she kept her nose to the ground. Considering the leash is about 25′ long – I had to walk back to her to see what she was so stubborn to sniff.

I was quite surprised she was sniffing a small heart on the sidewalk.  I patted her on the side and said good eye, and good nose Clover!

I took my phone out, immediately Clover stepped back so I could take the pic.  After I got the pic, as if right on cue, she was back to our walk.

I patted her again on the side, and repeated how she is such a good girl – and so smart.

I honestly believe, sharing communication and praise like this with anyone is exactly why discoveries like this happen.  We all want to feel we make someone proud!
