Last minute Valentine’s ideas

With just a few days left till Valentine’s Day I’m here to try and help you save the day with some lovely ideas to treat your loved on this year and even if they don’t quite arrive by the day you can always put together a lovely IOU featuring all the goodies that are on their way, perhaps tied to a rose to make it seem just that little bit more special.

I Am / You Are by Rosemary Gallagher

I think this Book is such a lovely gift to give someone and to also share between you both. It is split into two halves with one side being “I Am” and the other “You Are”, to change between the two you just flip the book over and read it from the other side.

Once you open the book it goes through the alphabet listing inspirational and encouraging words in a single word format. Personally I love the fact you could have this book around your home and any time you have a friend who is struggling a little, you could hand it over to them and hopefully give them a few words of encouragement.

Each page in this mini book is vibrantly designed, with each letter of the alphabet taking up a double page spread. The book sees the blue side signifying “I Am” and the red “You Are”.

I Am, You Are* is available to buy now and costs £4.99.

Reading with Emma Kinsey.

If your loved one believes in the unknown and would perhaps like to have a reading from one of the most talented physic mediums in the UK, then booking a reading with the lovely Emma Kinsey might be just the special surprise they would like.

Readings by Emma start at £40 and can be done face to face, via phone or even skype and she even offers group readings if you and a group of friends would like to meet and share an evening of wonder.

Give a tree with Treedom

Treedom are all about planting trees, in areas where they are needed and the fruit they produce will help the community around them and you can use them to plat and dedicate a Tree to anyone at any time.

At the moment they have four trees, specifically dedicated to Valentine’s, they are; the Cacao, which has the meaning of sweetness, a Banana tree, which has the meaning of fantasies, Grevilla with the meaning of patience and last but by no means least the Mango tree which has the meaning of Happiness.

Each of the trees on Treedom, cost a different amount to buy, but whichever takes your fancy the lucky recipient or you if you decide to plant one for yourself, gets to find out where it will be plated and also find out interesting facts, such as the amount of C02 the tree will absorb. As well as following it on its journey of growth.

What’s more this Valentine’s Day, Treedom are giving away the chance to win a night in a TREEhouse, to one lucky person who buys a tree for someone special, so why not head over and pick a tree now.

Personalised Goodies from Snapfish

I don’t think it’s much of a secret I love personalised items, I also love cushions (and mugs), so add the two together and for me you have the Perfect gift.

This Valentine’s Snapfish have a whole host of ideas to help you make the perfect, personalised gift for your loved one this special day. Personally I think these personalised cushions they have started producing are fantastic. Coming in two sizes 11″x11″ or 17″x17″ and they could just be the perfect way to share a favourite memory with a loved one.

I have to admit I am really rather fond of my Sally cushion and I think Sal gives it the paws up as well. It is really well made and I think the photo looks fantastic on it, which is a really big thing when it comes to such gifts.

The cushions are available now from Snapfish and start at just £19.99 to buy.

Blog Off T-Shirt

OK I can definitely say these won’t be with you by Valentine’s as they don’t start printing till after the campaign ends, on March 4th, but how could I not include them. I’m sure the blogger in your life won’t mind the delay – after all you can always blame it on me.

This is a limited run of this design, which is available in male and female fits and in a range of colours (as seen in the photo). I personally think one would make the perfect gift for anyone who loves to blog.

These t-shirts start at £10 + P&P and ship worldwide, so go on get your order in before time runs out over on the Moteefe website, I’ve already ordered mine.

Does anything on this list jump out at you, as the perfect present?
