“Time alone is time well spent. If I Enjoy Sitting in a Quiet Room Reading a book on the cosmos feeling an affinity and closeness with the words on each page, I’m damaged goods but if I go to busy clubs and bars full of people that see themselves as separate from me, I’ve made it. What if an empty forest or a deserted shoreline gives me more peace than a forced social setting with no escape plan? Maybe my form of enjoyment doesn’t necessarily resonate with the masses but does that mean I shouldn’t partake in it any more? Does it mean that I should find a new form of satisfaction? What if one real connection and one shared word of truth lights my heart more than a hundred insincere hellos on a social networking website? I can’t live the lie.. I can’t just go along with everyone.. because wisdom is gained from the road less travelled and that to me…is fun”
