We all want the recipe to a Lasting Relationship or marriage, but statistics show most of us have fallen short of reaching that goal. Despite the litany of articles experts have written detailing what they believe to be the core components to perpetual relationship bliss, about 40 to 50 percent of U.S marriages still end in divorce — and that's not counting subsequent marriages.

According to a recent study out of Israel, the secret to sustaining a long-term relationship is responsiveness. The study concludes when people felt like their significant other was more attentive towards their needs, they found them more desirable — which also means they had more sex.
