Labor Day...

Tags: labor walk

This morning, it was relatively cool and breezy and I had zero energy for a Walk. Now it's heat index 93 and can't breathe, and that's with a big ol' cloud covering the sun. But, at least I didn't Labor today.  The closest thing to it was bringing up a "how to" video to show Laurie how to hit the "on" button on her phone longer since the stupid thing also didn't want to labor today.

The fourth of September doesn't seem to be a very interesting day around here.  My picture hoard only has entries from one year- 2016- At which we had a pre-grandkids cookout at KC's.

There's the evidence- Isaiah's still hangin' with mom

But we did have Scrappy

History seems a little barren, too.  The Second Empire in France fell today (1871), Kodak was founded (1888), as was Google (1998), and Kelly Clarkson won the first American Idol (2002).  Los Angeles was first platted, population 45 (1781).  Bob Barker's "New" The Price Is Right launched (1972), as was the much less successful Edsel (1957).  Albert Schweitzer (1965), Steve Irwin (2006) and Joan Rivers (2014) died; Tom Watson (1949) and Beyonce (1981) were born.

Misty is not interested in a picture if she doesn't get a walk.
