So finally I watched it (after a lot of initial hesitation and disinterest). Yes, I watched DHOOM 3 this noon at a local theatre. Well most of the reviews poked fun at it and was panned across the whole of social media (at least on my news feed of 400+ people , there were a few exceptions of course)
On the whole, the movie was a waste of money and Aamir Khan's talent and time (I don't care even if its crossed the "ever-so cliched 100 crore club") What follows is NOT A REVIEW.

I am trying to take a slightly different route here and citing the reasons why you should watch it.
- Firstly, you would never expect Aamir Khan who has a set a bar for himself with subtle yet powerful performances for a decade and half to even think of doing a movie like this. Well, sadly he has and don't think in future he will (after seeing himself on screen with a super irritated and constipated expression most of the time.) So, don't miss it.
- Guess what ? Mr. Elusive (Abhishek Bachchan) is back ! I think he has become even more selective than Aamir when it comes to movies and takes his own time to churn out such mind blocking (or boggling) busters that we almost feel sorry him. Hence, don't miss it as we don't know when DHOOM 4 will release :P.
- Uday Chopra... well the guy has stopped taking himself seriously, so why should we ? Let's move on. But don't miss it as apparently this film is his swan song (unless DHOOM 4 is secretly in the works.. sushhhhh.. let's keep that a secret :P )
- Since there was an extra Aamir in this movie, there was one heroine less and that too for mere 10 - 15 mins. Well, at least Katrina looks beautiful / hot and with a set of even more toned legs. Her dance has become pretty decent compared to her previous movies and plus we don't face "Jab Tak Hain Jaan" type unbearably draggy act. DON'T MISS IT for her dance and her looks.
- Bollywood has finally made a decent attempt at "transformers-like" gadgetry / graphics imitation which sort of reminded me of a past fiasco ( remember JAANI DUSHMAN ?? :D :P ) . Although, this one was a lot better. So, an applauding moment, DON'T MISS IT.
Coming to a serious note (I hate to end this way) , the movie left me really confused at the end. I actually liked the way it ended (and felt sad too). The movie had a lot of potential with a decent storyline, actor like Aamir Khan, lot of financing, good visuals, transformers-like graphics but it was too commercial for it's own good and lack of willingness to create something truly worth watching..... but then don't miss it as you might not get to have a little of bit of laugh riot (this year) which OTHERWISE you might... just might.
