Today somebody asked for my help in setting up a blog. She's a working mother just like me and out of curiosity she asked me "have you been blogging for long?" And I answered her saying "Yes, 11 years". I heard the intake of breath on the other side of the line and for a minute I thought Whoa! Has it really been that long? It has. But I hastened to add to her that I do not blog as regularly as I used to. In fact, between home and work I hardly get the time to think, forget about the time to pen down my thoughts.
But I do sometimes wonder what it is that keeps me so busy that I ignore a decade old blog that at one time had a decent readership? Is it really impossible for me to stick to my one post a month resolution? These days I find myself second guessing my possible posts. (Is that really blog worthy?) Maybe that's the problem.
There are women my age, with schedules just as busy as mine (maybe, more) who are just discovering this wonderful medium for self expression. Then why am I not getting better at it? It's not like I have found a better way of handling my thoughts.
