Today, on Monday, an auspicious day of Rakhi Purnima and also the last Somwar (Monday) of the auspicious month of sawan in 2020, I was seeking for some information and opened up Wikipedia to see this message on top of the webpage.

So, We, the Indians, should join hands in this initiative of Wikipedia to keep knowledge and information ad-free for the greater benefit of human and specially to those who can not afford a quality of it.
A meagre amount of ₹150 (if only you can afford) or any such donation will be of great help in living upto this dream. It will be a token of gratitude in case if Wikipedia was able to Serve you worth that amount last year, which you are going to donate now.
