There's an article in the NYT that is too important not to share. 

Facebook doesn't care: just another corporation refusing to pay its externalities, nothing to see here, ho-hum. Google is planning on blocking all news sites in search as well, so you might want to bookmark a list of sites you care about. 

But the comments in response to this say, over and over, it's the best content people have seen in twenty years of subscribing
