hello all you people ,
As harsh would say "ur such a lazy blogger" , I am starting to believe him. So I thought lets write something and keep him quiet for some time. So here is the Part 2 of My memories of engineering second year.
After the hectic first year, we got a well deserved break. So my friend Rohit patil, I , Suamil Jain, Amey Malvi and Rahul lele, set out for a small trip to Masan (near Palghar). There we spent 3 days and had a blast of a time. From ghosts to god , beliefs to dis-beliefs, vegetarianism to carnivorism, we debated it all. The trip was sort of a fuelling station for second year.
In SE for the first time, I saw the entire Computers Class. There were quite a large number of new faces. Also there were new students from diploma. SE was sort of a Virar fast local. Evrything in it happened quick. In Sem 3 , I had a disaster of paper in Applied Mats 3. After attempting the section 1, i went blnk in section 2. Although I took 2 supplements extra, I did not attempt more than 12 marks in section 2. Also we got a real dose of engineering papers in sem 3. None of the papers were standard. Everyone still remembers the data structure paper. also all would remember the loop in which jaggu stuck into. entire semester he never went ahead of recursion which happened to be the first topic of our syllabus. also who can forget the huge assignments that vivek agrwaal made us write for just bunking one lecture.
somehow i managed to pass in sem 3. SEm 4 looed large. This was the first time when we would experience vivas - a procedure where niether the students nor the professor knows any thing, but still they keep asking questions on a subject. also we realized that the professor somehow knew everyting about the subject at the time of viva, about which he had know clue at all while teaching. JR, Kalu were some of them. still remeber 29 july when I had my DBMS viva. The reason I remember is coz on 27 July I celebrated my birthday by reading Korth. And what a waste it turned out to be.
In between I enjoyed myself in various inter collegiate and intra college events like SPACE, Techno , Umang etc etc. Also in SE i found new friends in the form of pooja shah (although i knew her from 11th), Harsh,Madhav, Neha, Siddarth and many more. this is how the year went which we engineers by now started calling
