K hates the middle school here. I know it; her dad knows it, as well as everyone who ask her about it. Everyone who knows her knows how she feels. And so the question has risen…
Will I home school her?
My first answer is No, and yes it was a very loud No.
I like having a good portion of my day free; I enjoy the quietness of the house while they are away. However as I said my loud no, I began my search for a home school program.
And you know what I found? Lots and lots of work for me!!!!
My hat goes off to those that home school; it does not sound easy or even appear to be easy. It looks like a lot of work and sacrifice, and yet I’m sure it can be very rewarding to those who can accomplish this amazing feat of not only raising your child but educating them as well.
And my decision was not as difficult as I thought. I do not have the patience to home school so therefore I know I cannot home school her. She will have to suck it up and go to school like everyone else.
And that was the thought until I discovered there is another way!!!
K will be taking online classes this next school year.
We will have to adjust to being home and I will lose some of my freedom. Yet I do believe we have found that perfect compromise within her wants and needs and mine.
After all we are a family….
