I went to the Dentist today and this little old man was dropped off by an assisted living van…
First he fell asleep and started snoring in the waiting room…and of course we all left it alone..He’s old and he should be able to sleep wherever he wants…
And Of course he’s in the room next to mine when I finally get called back but wait his story starts the moment they startled him awake to head back to the room…I guess he was still groggy…one of those people that need a morning cup of Joe to get started…because as he was driving his really cool supped up motorized wheelchair when he ran right into the dental assistant….
And then a wall….
And then another wall….lol…
Wait the story doesn’t end there….Yes there’s still more to tell and I’m sure you will feel just as bad for this poor dental assistant as I did….
He gets into the room and cannot move to the chair so the dental assistant comes to get the dentist from my room to find out what the next move is…the laid back dentist says….relax we can do it in his chair no need to move him at all….
So she starts to prep this sweet little old man when wham, we hearing her yelling Don’t bite..Don’t bite…and yep he did it…
This sweet little old man bites her….
So the dentist rushes from my room to his to offer some assistance…when all is well the laid back dentist leaves this poor dental assistant on her own again…
And yep it happen again….Don’t bite….Don’t bite and of course he does
At this point my laid back dentist looks at me and says…I really need to help her and I know you were here first but do you think you could wait….
I’m laying in the dental chair and I am trying so hard not to laugh out loud…It’s hard to keep my mouth open so sure I say..
I sat there for awhile and it sounded like things where finally going well in that room next to mine when I hear…hey, wakeup …..wake up….
Yep he woke up and his dental work did get done….
Yet it was the funniest experience I have ever had in a dental office….
Did I mention it was my first time going to that office…
I will be going back even if it is just for the entertainment…
