Well, with the help of American Standard, we finally got the chance to do it!
We had the most basic, boring, faucet before, and I really disliked it.
That's our old faucet above.. So basic, right?! I'm so relieved it's finally gone, after 15 long years!
With our new faucet, I really really wanted a long necked one. So we picked the Kirkdale Centerset:
I went with this one, because I love the long-necked design, and the sleek look of it. We went with the Legacy Bronze finish, because we have a lot of red and orange accents, so it just looks better, with a darker finish. But they also have a Brushed Nickel finish, which is also really attractive.
I also love that it's super easy to just wipe clean, because it doesn't really have small crevices on it. With our other faucet, we had tiny crevices underneath, which caused discoloration, plus it only had one pull on it, for hot/cold water. I love that the Kirkdale Centerset features two separate handles, and they're super smooth - You just barely have to glide them, which is also a super nice feature.
The best part? We've never installed a faucet before. I haven't even come close, and while Luke is very handy, it's just something he never had an occasion to do. Overall, with a few glances at installation, it took him only about 15 minutes (if even) to get the old one out, and the new one in. That actually was a relief to me, because we have two other sinks that he needs to do (lol.)
Now, when I think of replacing faucets, I think of high expense. But with American Standard, that isn't true. Believe it or not, the faucet I reviewed in this post - Only $99.00! I know when it comes to replacing our other faucets, the first place I am checking, is American Standard. The quality is truly there, and the price point is unbelievably affordable.
Overall, we're very happy with our new faucet, and I'm so happy I got the chance to review with American Standard!
