Just a story..

Okay. There's this one story I found on the internet. It was a love story and the author posts one session every day, equal to one chapter per month. Maybe, just for excitement? Hehe. Every chapter itself is very very long. It contains at least 30 sessions. Sometimes 31, 28. It changes. Just like the calendar of the month. I am not actually fond of reading stories, but this story is something different. It just caught my attention. Plus, it is a real-life story. Woo, love it. :)

I have been reading this story for the past 2 years, 8 months and 23 days. (is the counting correct?) I started june 19, 2007. Because that was the day the author started writing.

Chapter 32 is not yet finished. I just read session number 23 last night. Will continue the 24th session later. Hope so it's posted already. :)

The reason why I am writing this is because I am so much confused about the 20th, 21st, 22nd and the 23rd sessions. I was confused at whose fault was it.

Well okay, let me summarize the story..

She met a guy on the internet. They became friends, in fact, best buddies. That's what the author wrote. And the two of them fell in love. After 10 months of knowing each other, they finally met. The nationality of the girl and the guy is the same. But both of them are in different countries. The guy lives in their homeland, while the girl lives in another country. And now it's almost 2 years that the two of them haven't met. They were just having their communication through nets and phone. Naks! They have a sweet story, believe me! Kinikilig ako to the bones whenever I read their story. But of course, there is no perfect relationship, they also fight. Infact, a lot! Hehe.

~*~*~*~

Okay, now let's talk about the main reason why I am writing this on my blog. Chapter 32, session number 20. The guy was the coordinator of their techfest. So it was obvious that he's going to be busy. And it was just coincidentally that the techfest of the guy started the day the girl had to leave for her college trip. Before the girl left, she was still expecting that even at least for 10seconds, they could talk. But no. The girl kept on waiting for a single message from the guy, or a missed call, or whatsoever. None! Nothing came. The girl calls the guy everyday at 10:30PM just to remind the guy to eat. That's her daily routine. She also did when she was on her trip. But the guy couldn't hear her, and just said, "talk to you later.." --> the favorite line of the guy! "Talk to you later." The girl could hear some sounds of people having fun. She still didn't mind that, thinking that "he must be busy."

When she woke up in the morning, she didn't receive any message from the guy, and that made her feel "woo".. Still she didn't mind. "Nevermind", that's what she said. She kept on waiting the whole day. As in the whole damn day. The girl didn't try to call the guy, as she thought he might be busy AGAIN. But still deep inside she was waiting for a single message from the guy. She messaged the guy, but just sent a smiley face, ":)". Still, no reply. When the girl came back home, it was 10:15 already. So she finished reading her prayer books. And at 10:30PM, as usual, she called the guy. But the same favorite line of the guy was said, "talk to you later.." The girl was left speechless. STILL SHE DIDN'T MIND!!!! Whew. She again waited for the guy to message her, as the guy always says, "talk to you later." She expected AGAIN that they would really talk this time after sometime. But naah. Obviously, the girl was tired already, so when she was feeling sleepy, she messaged the guy and said goodnight. And oh, finally, the guy replied, he said "hey, you reached home??" The girl replied, "yup, when I called you, that was the time I reached home." She waited for the reply for some time. No reply. :) So she messaged again and said goodnight once again.

That was the time she started feeling bad. She felt that the guy could talk to him, but it was the guy’s own choice not to give any response. That was ouch for her, of course. She just tried sleeping after that. In the morning when she woke up, she received a message from the guy, it was just a quote where in the end there was a message, "take care". So the girl replied, "you too take care". The guy gave a missed call to the girl. Usually, when the guy gives a single missed call, the girl calls him up at once, as written in the previous chapters. But that time, she just messaged the guy and asked, "what happened? Why a missed call?" The guy again gave a missed call. This time the girl called and asked "Why are you giving me a missed call?!" She was already angry at that time. She was hurt, ofcourse! She was boiling!!! She was talking in a very rude way. The guy cut the phone when he sensed that the girl was really freaking angry. And the girl just couldn’t resist the guy, but at that time, she tried for the very first time to resist the guy and not to call back. She didn't call back. She felt bad. It was also written in the story that the girl said, "God knows how bad I was feeling when I was talking so rudely at him." Okay. After some time, the guy messaged the girl and said, "I knew it you would get mad. I am sorry baby. Call me." The girl received the message after 10mins, 'coz she was sleeping. And when she saw the message, she called up the guy at once. And guess what the guy said, "I am now here outside, talk to you later, will message you when I'll be free." Goshieee. :D As usual, she again waited for that so called "later". But as always, the guy's "later" never comes. At night when she was trying to sleep at around 2:30AM, I guess. Yeah, 2:30AM. The girl was freaking angry again. And they just fought. Fought, fought, fought! The two of them just argued the whole night. And slept without solving their things. :)

!*!*!*!

The girl's point of view:
He messaged the girl just because he knows she's home already. But when she was out why did the guy not even bother to message her??? The girl kept on waiting for him!!! Whenever the girl tried to call the guy, she only heard the same same same line of the guy, "talk you later." So annoying, as written in the story.

The guy's point of view:
The guy was so busy with his techfest. He too didn't talk with his parents those days, just because of the techfest. Well, his parents live far away from him too na. Hmmm... He even had his accident the day the girl came back home.

My point of view:
Okay, I agree the girl did a wrong thing. She must not have over-reacted. But was it not the duty of the guy to tell the girl that he had his accident? Could he not give even just 10seconds to the girl? Both of them are right. But at the same time, both of them are wrong, too! They must have a mutual understanding. What do you say? I am super confused if whose mistake was it? The guy or the girl? What say people? Don't worry, I asked the author first before posting her story of this chapter and session on my blog. Please leave some comments about this thing. So that I could understand the next sessions and chapters. I will be reading the next session tonight! Whew.
