Pada artikel sebelumnya kita telah Membahas Mengenai Cara Turn Off Autoplay Windows XP, maka pada artikel kali ini kita akan membahas mengenai cara mendisable/turn off autorun atau autoplay di Windows 7 dan Windows Vista.

Cara I :
Turn Off Autoplay melalui Control Panel

- Buka Control Panel -> Klik Hardware and Sound -> Klik Autoplay (untuk membuka jendela pengaturan Autoplay);
- Hilangkan tanda cek (v) pada kotak Use AutoPlay for all media and devices;
- Klik Save;
- Selesai.


Cara II :
Turn Off Autoplay melalui Group Policy Editor

- Klik Start -> Run -> ketik gpedit.msc -> lalu tekan Enter (kita akan masuk jendela Group Policy Editor);
- Klik User Configuration -> Administrative templates -> Windows Components -> pilih Autoplay Policies;
- Sekarang lihat di jendela setting sebelah kanan, klik (2x) Turn Off Autoplay;
- Pada jendela Turn Off Autoplay, klik pilih Enabled;
- Pada bagian Options (Turn off Autoplay on) di bawah, kita dapat memilih : CD-ROM Drives and removable drive atau All Drives;
- Klik OK;
- Selesai.

Catatan : Cara II ini hanya dapat dipergunakan untuk Windows 7 atau Windows Vista yang bukan versi home Premium.
