Kim Jones’ way of recreating the houses’ men’s suits has been keeping many entertained and expectant, but what’s really surprising about the latest one is how he’s able to incorporate some of the prettiest, what I might even call the most feminine, colors to achieve a certain level of masculinity that’s both elegant and fresh. As I prepare to start a new hobby, these particular pieces are inspiring me to be more bold with my choices while maintaining my identity. I Love how the sash has evolved into a lapel, and all the mini accessories that add playfulness to what could seem rigid or unapproachable otherwise.
Anyone else remember John Galliano’s newspaper print dress? I remember it so clearly although it was probably something like 20 years ago. It was one of the very first fashion pieces that I saw as a young girl that made me fall in love with fashion. And here we are in 2019 with the print being resurrected for a men’s collection. This is making me emotional.l can’t possibly the only person who wants that Rimowa mini luggage. and this color combination is just brilliant. I want to hang this picture on the wall.Zoom in and look how delicate this print is. It belongs in a gallery.I’m not sure whether I like this model’s eyes better or the sash. Both.
