I’m not complaining but why are these Sneakers everywhere? Was I really living under a rock?

When I was in Seoul the past week, all I saw were these Gucci Rhyton sneakers and Land Rovers I felt like I was missing out. I know “ugly shoes” (which is how the fashion industry initially called the trend although in reality, they are more like chunky, heavy sneakers) have been all the rage the past couple years and I have (or had) yet to give into the trend, but these are slowly growing on me as they are starting to look pretty cool. 

They are close to $1,000 a pair. Would you do it?
