Do you know how many people hate me, and don’t like my blog… and don’t like this and that about me? No, I’m really asking. Do you know? Because I don’t and I don’t give into that Negative stuff.  Lately I have been seeing so much hate between Women, that seems more evident now because of Social Media.  Envy has always been around.  It's just that now, people have a visual platform to display it on and a keyboard to hide behind. 

It’s stupid. It sucks. And why waste your time?  I recently read something regarding Gabrielle Union, talking down about Kerry Washington and the show Scandal.  Although I like Gabrielle on being Mary Jane, I lost a little respect for her.  I questioned, why are you “talking down” another show? And to top it off--Another show where you and Kerry are practically the same “SIDEPIECE” character?   Of course the plots are different in each show; but to sum it up, the role of both women are that they are tied to married men, who they are not married too. So you’re putting down the show because what?

Then I looked further into it, and I saw that Gabrielle Union actually tried out for Scandal, and didn’t get the role. And once other websites started showing that she looked like a sour grape, she tried to sugar coat the situation. 

There was another twitter spat I saw between this other girl and Lupita Nyung'O. Apparently this girl who bleached her skin had a lot of negative things to say about the Oscar winner.  You see I don’t even know the girls name.  (oh there yo go it's Dencia, based on this picture I have.)  But I know that she's clearly not a fan of Lupita. And I also know that I never saw Lupita reply to any of what this woman was saying. I guess it was because she was too busy working on winning another Oscar. But at the end of the day, it’s like who are you to say anything about anyone? You’re the same lady who bleached your skin to become lighter! Hello?! Let’s be serious here.  You're sitting there behind your keyboard, speaking volumes of your self-hatred by trying to drown someone else with your negativity. 

Why aren’t more of us congratulating and supporting each other?  Each time I post a blog post, some woman has something negative to say. Trust me I get it to my inbox all the time. Or I get people telling me your blog is way better than this person’s.  WHOA. Lol. First of all I’m not about that. Really and truly that’s not my aim. I blog because I love to write, and express my quirkiness through my words. I don’t blog to be better than the next woman doing it.  I do not entertain negativity. I never have. My attitude is, if you don’ t like what I write, don’t read it. Erase me from wherever you have me, and you’ll never have to see me again.  Some are too good to like what I put up, or even read and OK, that’s fine. But I’m never going to go on a rant about another person’s blog, or give into the negative morning breath comments I receive. 

At the end of the day. It's really sad to see us putting each other down, every chance we get.  I am a supporter of women who are doing their thing. I may not agree with everything, but I’m not going to post my self-hating reflection on someone else.  I’m all for creativity, and positivity. It takes too much outta me to be envious of someone else. We need to start encouraging each other as women.  It's not rocket science to do. It's humility, it shows character, and it demonstrates that you yourself are a  strong woman.  Let us take the high road, and stop tearing each other down.
