So swiftly did the year pass that I can hardly believe that I am at the brink of its end. 2009 as a year was a year with surprises and hope for all. It saw the world economy recover from its recession, it was the year global climate change policies were debated upon seriously and an essay to reverse its effect on the world was made with the humanity in perspective. All nations tried their best to contribute as generously as they could with their limitations and beyond.

But wars and natural calamities still scar and bleed the world in many places around the globe. Not much was done to elevate the sufferings of the affected.
On the personal front it was a year of many beginnings and a few endings for me.

Except for a few bumpy patches it was overall a good year. Changes in the last month were more drastic than the last eleven months.

Hopefully the New Year will bring in more good than the last year.
