My Gut Feel (MGF) and comments:
Surely God created man before woman.  But then you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece…

Panga celebrates the womanhood, with a story webbed around a relatable character played by Kangna and supporting cast. The trailer of Panga reminds of Priyanka Chopra starrer Marry Kom released in 2017. Although screenplay seems more grounded and simplistic as compare Marry Kom and credit goes to the director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for the same.

Co-writer, Nikhil Mehrohtra also plays an important role in drafting the story whose strength is simplicity and relatability. He already worked extensively with Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari in the past and as a team, they delivered brilliant films in recent years.

Panga’s story is important to be told in today’s time whereas our society is changing rapidly and its high time for men to appreciate women’s multitasking ability. Women are doing exceptionally well in handling both personal and professional life especially post-marriage and having kids. And its high time that men showcase their ability to flexibly put the more diligent effort in family life which gives women better breathing space to blossom.  Going by the trailer it seems that Jassi Gill is playing the role of supporting husband which is heartening to watch.

By the time of the release of Panga on 24th January, Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji would enter its third-week post-release who is doing exceptional business at the box office. However, Varun Dhawan starrer Street Dancer is also releasing on 24th January which would in a way give competition to Panga at the box office for sure.  Kangna is a star in every sense have does have her die-hard fan following who is surely won’t like to miss this movie which I believe will ensure decent numbers at Box office.

Going by My Gut Feeling (MGF), I am giving Panga 3.5 stars out of 5 one week before the release. 3 stars for the story, screenplay, and Kangna’s and supporting star cast’s likable performances. An additional point five stars for the direction of Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari who I am confident has done a remarkable job.
