So…this is summer?

I am so not impressed with the weather.  Other than a few hot days (usually working ones), I cannot seem to enjoy two days in a row with nice weather when I am actually off work to enjoy it.

This is why vacations are sooooo necessary. And thus far every Vacation I have ever taken has been glorious for weather every time.  Let me find a piece of wood fast so I can knock for luck.  Next destination is Belize in November.  Not sure if I am going solo or not at this point but I have a list of all the places to visit and things to do and one way or another, I am going.  Disembark, book in at a local place for the rest of afternoon and explore city and then, the next morning the adventure begins. Rent a jeep and off I go.  Two days in and around Belize City and then off to Ambergris Caye.  It will be my first vacation where I choose the itinerary and tour the country as an adventure. Till now I have always done the resort thing and you really don’t get to explore or try several accomodations and tour around the country when you vacation this way.  I have never had the courage to go beyond safety of resort before but it is time to REALLY vacation.  Safety is a matter of being aware and being careful.  I am not going to worry about it as right here in Ontario I could have an accident and bye bye.   My kids are all set up if something happens to me and at least if something did, it would be while on vacation.  Doesn’t seem a bad way to go to me.  I can’t wait to go.

On another note, this is crazy month for me.  Moving children from place to place, exams, doctor stuff, etc.  August will be far more relaxing and I am looking forward to it.

My ACN job is doing well and I just wish I had more time to devote to it.  Hopefully all the other obligations I have when off work from full time job will become easier and less demanding and then I can spend more time on it.

Spent July 1st cleaning windows.  What else would I do when it is raining and miserable out? Glad to have it done!

Bought out my lease on car last week. What a nightmare?  Between the Jeep Dealership and Chrysler Financial, walked away feeling I had been hosed. Very unhappy with both of them and they will never have my business again.  Even after receiving my cheque and telling me everything was finalized and no more payments would be withdrawn from my bank, they took another payment anyway (which had already been paid) and after cashing my BIG final cheque three days before.  Of course when I called about it, both the dealership and Chrysler Financial both blamed each other. And oh by the way, it will take a week minimum to be returned.  This is after the interest rate changed at the last minute and dealing with a man at the dealership that treated me like garbage and had no patience to explain the math and final buyout. They are so charming when you go in the first time to buy/lease. I will never lease again!! And next time its time to buy – it won’t be chrysler.  Enough said about that!

Home life is great lately.  Not sure what has happened to make it so much better but I am not going to question it.  Its great.  Maybe it will all work out and I didn’t make another mistake.

Taking the boys for three days to Deerhurst – as long as they don’t change plans and dates.  This will be our summer fling before back to school.  Should be fun and I am looking forward to spending time with them without constant interruptions or time restraints.

Not much else exciting at the moment.
