In Malaysia to register a child for Primary 1 parents have to do it 2 years or 1 year in advance . Registration is open every March every year.

This is the steps how to do it based on my experience.

Go to the website http://apps.moe.gov.my/esppsel/ read the procedure and guidelines before clicking 'Permohonan Online'

Ready your child's IC or birth cert. Click 'Permohonan Online'. Start filling in. Follow the form till the end. Form asked to fill child's info, one of the parents particulars incl. Family's monthly income.

Do know which 'Daerah' the school is located. Subang Jaya school is under Petaling Perdana. If you don't know can call or google PPD to check.

Pick the school from the drop down list that you want your child to be enrolled in. Once successfully registered, you will be given a pin. Make sure to remember the pin or take a photo of it as this is important.I have read that some parents did not get any emails for this so better be ready. This pin is for you to log in again to amend or check status.

After successful registration remember to print out the form. Just click 'Cetak' at the bottom.

Within 14 days you need to submit your printed online registration to the school that you picked for your child with other necessary documents below:-

Birth certificate/Sijil Anak Angkat (original & photocopy)

Parents'/Guardians' MyKad (original & photocopy)

Marriage/Divorce certificate of parents (original & photocopy)

Surat Hak Penjagaan/Perintah Mahkamah, where applicable (original & copy)

Utility bill with your address (TNB/water/telephone) (original & copy)

Doctor's report & Kad Oku, where applicable (for special children) (original & photocopy)

For 2017 admission, the results of registration will only be out around August 2016 .For now Hoping for the best for my son, hopefully the application will be successful.
