Christmas Room Decourations||Day3...

So last year I went OTT on the Christmas décor and this year (well you can kind of guess) I've also done it again. Making my room look festive just makes me feel even more Christmassy. So for this post I've got together some ways of how to decorate your room for the season and what to buy xx

Christmas Room Decorations

For Christmas the main thing I change is my bedding. This basically just gives your room a really festive feel and totally gets you in the mood for the rest of the winter. Good places to get bedding is Primark, M&M and Debenhams. They are really good quality and also are warm which is good for the cold winter. The one I have for this year is

What else I do in my room is stick random baubles all over my room. So basically I just get a few from Paperchase - I use them as they just look so nice and they don't smash easily which is good as I drop things so easily. What I do is get every bauble and use tape to stick it to my shelves. I dunno why I really do this but it looks good in the end. Can you guess by now that I really love Christmas and am a to obsessed?

Obviously you need a Christmas Tree to make your room slightly Christmassy, but most rooms cant fit a massive tree in. So just buy a mini tree- you may even have one already. A tiny tree looks so cute; and looks so nice in your room. This makes your room just light up with such a festive atmosphere. I love to decorate my tree with mini decorations and mini Fairy Lights.

Another cheap idea to decorate your room is to make Christmas paper chains. There are some great Christmassy designs that are online for you to print off. Or you could buy a paper chain kit where the paper is easy to stick together without needing tape. You can hang these over your room- by the windows or over your bed. They are a good asset to your room and screams Christmas.

The one thing I can NOT live without is mini fairy lights all over my room. They just look incredible- I bought them a few years ago and they still look as good as the day I bought them. Fairy lights are easy to accessories your room. I have the plain ones, the lead is clear and the lights shine a normal yellowy colour. Make sure if you get fairy lights that they are safe and check the reviews on them! I only leave the lights on when I'm in the room so the they don't run out (I have battery ones).

So after this post you can defo tell that I am Christmas crazy and go all out on the room decorations xx
