Valentine’s Day may be awesome!

How do you spend Valentine’s Day? Do you celebrate this day at all? Do all the omnipresent red colour, hearts and angels annoy you? So many countries, so many customs! And… so many ways to approach the holiday! and I would like to focus on Poland.

Following National Geographic Polska (National Geographic Poland), which did their research on the basis of hrs.com, five most romantic places for Valentine’s Day in 2017 were Venice (the 5th place), Rome (the 4th place), Vienna (3rd place), Paris (the 2nd place) and Prague (the 1st place). The juxtaposition results from the number of hotel reservations made around the 14th of February. According to telegraph.co.uk there are also other cities, which are equally romantic and these include: Amsterdam (Netherlands), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Florence (Italy), Madrid, Barcelona and Sevila (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Copenhagen (Denmark), Reykjavik (Iceland), Berlin (Germany), Budapest (Hungary) and Bruges (Belgium). However it is still Prague that wins I would love to know where is Warsaw or any other Polish city

I have never been to Prague myself and now I’ll do everything to get there as soon as possible! It may be a great experience! Additionally, for Polish, the Czech language is quite funny because it sounds like a language of small children; and the other way round: I heard that for people of Czech Republic, the Polish language is funny and sounds like a language of small children

I’ve heard that you need at least 7 days to visit Prague… Sounds mysterious and interesting!

Now, do Polish people like Valentine’s Day? Generally: YES! It is very surprising to me, especially when I hear all the bad news from here. Well, next proof that LOVE is the most important feeling on earth

According to Prezentmarzeń, 81% of Polish CELEBRATE Valentine’s Day!! Amazing Also, an interesting fact is that 31% don’t care for material things because they value non-material suprises more!

I am really surprised and glad to see that our society is not that bad and knows the value of love the hope is still there! and here I would add something from me, as I think non-material things rule: smile as often as you can Valentine’s Day is not only made for people in love but for all It’s a day for the celebration of LOVE as the most beautiful feeling on earth
