So Summer is slowly approaching. Even sooner than that is my birthday. This is why I thought I would write about what I want to achieve for the coming summer and beyond. I'm a very odd person in the sense that when it's not summer, I spend literally every moment thinking about the sun and being warm. As soon as it gets hot I love to run inside and keep myself in the shade, spending all day complaining about just how hot it is. That's why this summer I'm not going to do that. I'm going to spend every day, if possible, outside in the sun. Doing things for myself, for my blog and just really getting my life started.
Starting a blog has always been a Dream of mine. I did. It wasn't hard; all the fears that I had imagined they weren't there, and now I'm having the best time of my life writing about things that I love and sharing that with people even if it's only a handful. Sharing my experiences and my hobbies. Keeping this in mind, I have decided that this summer I'm going to start volunteering around my local community and basically anywhere in travelling distance.
Another one of my dreams is to start a non-profit organisation, to be charitable and to really touch people in a way that will really make a difference. I'm going to start looking at opportunities where I can work with children and with the environment, help to make London cleaner and safer for children and women and anyone who is vulnerable. I know it takes a lot to run an organisation, which is why I'm not going to push myself too hard. I know that in 20 years I'll be somewhere that I dream to be, and until then I'm going to work every single day until I get there.
Every since I was a little girl all I wanted to do was change the world and I'm going to do that. On the way, though I don't want to lose the creative side of me. The side that loves beauty, fashion and photography. Who loves to blog about nonsense and take amazing pictures. Who loves food and once wanted to be a graphic designer. I know I could have it and it might not seem possible or right, but I'm not going to let anything stand in my way.
All of this brings me to the topic of my birthday. On April 23rd, 1998 a little girl, who would once have big dreams was born and to kick star that dream instead of asking for presents I'm going to ask my friends and family to donate the money to a charity of their choice. Because every little bit helps. x
