Nearing the 4 year mark of development and waiting on the application for the Epic Megagrants to close, it is time to share with you who come here to keep up to date with the ever moving progress of the game about finances and the budgeting solutions for the next logical steps to be taken.

I haven’t had a job since I was 24 or something. After selling most of my valuables that I am willing to sacrifice, I now have $1000 to live on. I have never had more than $5000 to my name at any point in my life. My mother thinks I’m an incompetent, worthless shithead. During these past 15 years, I have spent the entire time asking nobody for anything and doing everything absolutely by myself. I learned everything that makes me qualified to do the job of creating a videogame. The trend will continue. I cannot afford to pay anyone but myself because the quality of the work that is required to create this game is nothing short of exceptional. I am the only person who I can afford to create this kind of work at the moment.

If you are to become a Financial Supporter, it would be for making the quality of work better presented now, more secure, and to overall be better off throughout long-term progress. You will be providing for the following:

• NAS Storage to prevent catastrophic data loss.
• A new monitor to support higher refresh rate and response-time so that I know what the game looks like in its best state.
• Audio/video recording equipment to make presentable content, because nobody wants to see anyone in cam footage with hissing or humming background noise.
• A midi controller keyboard to create articulated compositions a little bit easier than the way that it is handled now.
• I want to eat, and maybe do stuff with people, maybe.
• Emergency savings in case of bad things happening.

Your donations WILL be used for these purposes specifically, because I don’t have time for anything else. My work week is always 98 hours at a minimum. The X-men Vs. Street Fighter arcade cabinet will be the only thing I have time for other than development itself. As a contributor, you will be credited as a Supporter and eventually I will find a way to provide you with an early access build to the game, or we can play it somewhere.

All I need is about 3 full donations to clear the list of needs if we exclude me eating food. It doesn’t matter how much is raised. I will continue development whether or not I get anything. I went the first 4 years with no Financial or any kind of support at all, so I can probably die doing this with nothing gained. Spreading the word about this would be much appreciated, because there has never been a time where I thought that anything I did would be worth asking for support except for now, because the best game in the world is in the making. If that is something that you want to see finished in 9 years, it would be a good time to make your contribution.

The project continues to build on its track record with 80 posts here on the blog. Showing and proving happens almost on a daily basis, so if you need proof of progress, all you have to do is come back and see. Since I am my own psychiatrist, I might say some ridiculous crap sometimes, but ultimately the most important thing is moving this project along.
