However, while passing your test is an achievement worth celebrating, it does not mean that the hard work is over - and you now have more responsibility on your shoulders than ever before.

  • When purchasing a new car, it’s important that you know what to look out for, especially if you are going to buy a used car. Ensure that you take some time to shop around in order to find the car that is right for you. While you may be tempted to purchase a newer model, there are many benefits associated with buying second-hand, and you can always install modifications that increase value at a later date.


  • Purchase ‘P’ plates for your car and display them clearly. This is a particularly useful step if you still feel a little anxious when driving and can be used to inform others on the Road of your ability while you find your groove. 


  • Pay particular attention to keeping your car in good running order - as this will minimise the chance of expensive breakdown further down the line.
