Hi!

So, I got the 5-HTP from HERE! The package is 120 capsules which lasts 2 to 4 months depending how many of them you take as you can take 1 or 2 per day. As in my previous Biotin review, the capsules are GMO free & suitable for vegetarians but a tiny bit bigger (as seen on the picture below). The main idea of 5-HTP is to increase the levels of melatonin & serotonin which are responsible for your happiness. Is it the key to be happy then? Well, maybe not happy but definitely less stressful during the worst times, well rested & more relaxed!

My first day after taking 2 capsules was so funny! I took them at 5pm & at 6pm I fell asleep during my friend’s visit! The capsules put me to sleep within 1 hour! I learned that 5pm is definitely not the time to take them… The second day I took them 1 hour before going to sleep & it worked the same. Now I take one in the evening and after a week I realised that my sleep improved a lot & I haven’t had headache even once during that time. Hahahaha, and I haven’t fall asleep straight after opening the EU law textbook!

Of course, 5-HTP works differently for everyone & there are other factors such as how stressful you really are. If you have deep depression, it may not work. I consider the fact that with so much work to do in so little time during the last week of semester at the law school, I’ve been surprisingly great. I’m so happy that headaches are gone at the moment and I wasn’t influenced by the ‘OMG deadline is killing me, I can’t do it!’ mood.
