The University of the Philippines (UP) Baguio College of Science will conduct the 24th Summer Institute in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics (SINSM) with the theme

Gearing Towards Effective Teaching and Research Methods from April 26 to 28, 2018 at the UP Baguio Campus, Baguio City.

 The SINSM is an annual extension service of the College of Science, which aims to train and update secondary and tertiary education teachers on the latest developments in theory, applications, and pedagogy in the fields of natural science and mathematics through the conduct of lectures and seminar-workshops.

The target participants are teachers at the secondary and tertiary levels in the country.
