My plan for Galentine’s Day this year was to host a Roses and Rosé Soiree. I invited our guests to bring their favorite bottle of rosé to share and we would nibble on sweets and craft and talk about life. Then Seattle’s Snowmageddon 2019 happened and I had to postpone until April. But we were finally able to get together and we had a marvelous time, nibbling on sweets, crafting and talking about life. It’s always fun to hang with my ladies; getting our schedules to mesh is like trying to coordinate a space launch. I’m honored when it works… Costco has da best deal on roses, $17.99 for 2 dozen! So easy and affordable to set the scene. While out, stop at Trader Joe’s (or your favorite grocer) and stock up on on fresh fruit, cheese, and crackers. Create a dessert tray with a variety of cookies, chocolate covered everything, marshmallows and brownies. Think outside the box for decor; I used a faux fur rug as a fuzzy table covering.
