Celebrate Pi Day With Triple Berry Mini Pies

Today is Pi Day, π Day…March 14…3.14. Yes my friends, it’s my fellow math nerds’ High Holy Day, Pi Approximation Day, or Pi Day for short. So of course, it’s time to Celebrate all things pi with pie so I made Triple Berry Mini Pies! I love pie so it comes as no surprise that any day that celebrates it is number one in my book!  Plus, I love making them with 5″ pie pans from Bakers Party Shop, because around these parts, cutting even slices of pie is a problem. Seriously, I could not find the mini number cookie cutters I was looking for in time.  So, I downloaded an image of pi and used it as a template to cut out of the pie tops.   What’s more fun than eating pie? Sharing with others!  I boxed mine up with a wood spoon I stamped with digits of pi and secured with math washi tape!  I also made fun pie labels by layering a 5 1/2″ circle of tan cardstock with a 5″ circle of purple cardstock and cutting out a wedge.
