As a kid in the 70's I would watch Evel Knievel on Wide World of Sports. I rode with cards in the spokes of my bike. We jumped everything we could. Today with the common place eXtreme sports we forget that Evel was a true pioneer and icon. I will likely never forget the Snake river jump. It makes me more than a little sad to see the passing of a childhood hero.




I love the feeling of the fresh air on my face and the wind blowing through my hair. Evel Knievel
