And if You could Grow it, Should you?

Well, this is somewhat where it started. Garlic, lettuce, and some Chinese cabbage.
Eventually corn, tomatoes, potatoes, beans, squash, cucumbers, basil, and squash of various varieties joined in. Sadly, my other post had the bulk of the pictures that I had time to take so you're stuck with this:

Morning glory ---
 Glory, morning:
 Glorious morning:
 Well, you know .....
 Pickles pickles pickles ....
Oh, and we got 5 new hens. They make teeny tiny eggs, as shown in the middle below:
Piles and piles of garlic. I planted extra last Fall hoping to maybe sell some and make back a few pennies to buy next year's crop. It was an OK idea .... and the crop was incredible:
This is stand #2. I never got a picture of Stand #1, it was up all of 24 hours and got creamed by the lawn tractor driven by Queenie trying to 'help me out'. The lawn tractor has a habit of destroying things when not under my control. Anyhow, things were going well and I made back my expenses and was just starting to make some money towards next years' garden when some slime-ball stole a bucket and all of the garlic in it. I had expected some losses, 3-5 garlic had been stolen each of the first 3 weeks it was open, but did not expect folks to help themselves to the furnishings if you know what I mean. So anyhow, the stand is down until I get time to add some security as typically a thief who gets away with it once will try to strike again. I wanna make it hard AND I wanna get pictures. But it's gotta get done, I'd like to sell some more of this as there's more than we can use .....
We went to a tractor pull for the first time in years. Right near where those 'gators were found in the river. There may be a post soon from the tractor pull just because.
And now for the ridiculous. Now-completely-ex-son-in-law had begged to be allowed to build a shed for his precious Harley just months before revealing that he was a lying cheating stealing pig. Why he ever started the thing when he KNEW he was leaving is beside me, but he laid down some gravel and started making a poorly slapped together base. So this Spring I decided to reconstruct it and finish the shed to replace our more than 50 year old crumbling shed. In order to save some time and money I decided to reuse pieces of the old shed so I deconstructed it and found this:
The walls and floor of the old shed were constructed out of shipping containers used to ship equipment from IBM Japan to IBM Owego. And much of it is still usable, to one degree or another. So my new shed will have markers all over it from my employer, likely made around the time I was born. Possibly before ..... Strange, interesting little world we live on!
