Schlager Celebs at Bob's Bar!

Last night Dutch schlager icon Douwe Bob took over a pub in the centre of Stockholm and invited his Euro chums along to join him. The Schlagerboys thought we'd go along as the Netherlands is our favourite entry this year, we've always loved the Netherlands and Douwe Bob is going to win (can we have a photo please).

Apparently Douwe had been tweeting Euro celebs all afternoon inviting them to his do so we were looking forward to seeing who was going to turn up. As we approached the bar, which was heaving, the first celeb we saw was Krista Seigfrids, but we didn't actually speak to her because we had her in 2013.

The Cyprus boys were rowdily holding court outside and Finland woman, Spain woman, Estonia bloke and France bloke were also mingling.  Douwe was working the pavement and chatting to everyone and there were various TV cameras and important looking people with clipboards handing out wristbands. It was then we realised with horror that there was a room downstairs that you needed a Dutch flag-coloured wristband to get in to, so we teamed up with the Good Evening Europe girls and made it our mission to get there.

The Schlagerbiys have history with Good Evening Europe; we have spent many a drunken evening post-MGP in Oslo raucously bellowing along to MGP schlager tunes and stalking Norwegian National Final celebs together. If anyone can get us downstairs, it's them!
There was a sudden commotion outside and OMG! Sergey turned up! The Schlagerbioys haven't actually had Sergey yet and we stood about three feet away trying to work out how to grab him for a schlager photo while there was basically a gay rugby scrum surrounding him. We were positioned by the door and after about five minutes he had to walk past us to get in so we grabbed the opportunity, put on our surprised, "Oh! Fancy seeing you here!" face, and basically blocked his way to ask for a photo. Bless him, he consented. Not a word was spoken but we quite like it that way; easier for all concerned, frankly.
Once we'd had Sergey we decided there was no point hanging round and it was going to be all acoustic versions and guitar strumming anyway, so we left Good Evening Europe and went to Euroclub for the next part of the evening. Within half an hour we got a photo message from them of two wrists with Dutch flag wristbands! Douze points, Good Evening Europe! You are our schlager heroes and we are not worthy!
