This is completely fabulous news and we are planning our selfies as we speak. This is our one and only chance to get on the Eurovision stage during a UK performance so we're going to send in about ten per day for the next couple of weeks.
Joe and Jake seem to be very enthusiastic about taking selfies; perhaps it's their gimmick. Bucks Fizz had skirts in 1981, Jade Ewen had Lord Webber and a smash in the gob by a violinist on some stairs in 2009 and Joe and Jake have got the selfie. They took a selfie at the end of the performance in Amsterdam, another in Tel Aviv and they took one on the Graham Norton show last night. With Meryl Streep!! We do hope they're NOT going to take one on the Eurovision stage at the end of their song. You wouldn't get Carola doing that!
