Virginia Kay is the daughter of the African American composer Ulysses Kay (1917-1995), who is featured at AfriClassical.com.  Virginia forwards Xak Bjerken's essay, "Finding My Way to Kay" along with a recording of him performing Ulysses Kay's Inventions. She writes:
