Conductor Kalena Bovell recently completed her tenure as assistant conductor for the 2016-17 season with the Chicago Sinfonietta and she will be an observer at Cabrillo Festival July 30-August 12 2017 (conductors/composers workshop). Kalena will have the opportunity to sit in and contribute to all of the conducting sessions with the composer fellows, conducting fellows and associates.
