Kicking off the build-up to what I’m expecting to be album number 3, Tash Sultana continues to shift her guitar virtuoso skills towards indie-pop and RnB. Her new single ‘New York’ is smoothly sublime, led with warm piano, RnB beats and softer vocals with a spoken rap segment. For fans who started the Tash Sultana journey, there is still a guitar solo towards the end. Instead of going for the drama, Tash keeps it mellow and relaxed to suit the summer vibes of her new sound.
