Jason Lee Slammed by #Barbz For Saying Nicki Minaj Is “Washed Up” & Uses Young Female Rappers for Clout [Video]

Barely a year after ruffling the feathers of Nicki Minaj‘s beloved fan base (#Barbz) for labeling them “terrorists” and calling the chart-topping rapstress “old,” famed media personality Jason Lee is back on the group’s radar for some jaw-dropping, disparaing remarks about their leader.

Details inside.

In a video that has the internet buzzing, Lee weighed in on the headline-grabbing news that Kenneth Petty, Minaj’s husband, landed in legal trouble earlier this week for threatening Cardi B‘s husband Offset.

While on the topic of Nicki, Jason made it clear their longstanding beef has far from cooled as he criticized everything from her performance ability to the commercial performance of her music.

“Some people just can’t accept the fact that their time has passed so they’re using all these young girls…to be able to leverage their names because she fell off. Her sh-t ain’t selling the way it used to,” he said in the damning clip (seen above).

Later reflecting on seeing her in concert (which he branded the worst he’s been to yet), Jason asserted her music isn’t selling because she’s competing with a younger audience who isn’t as impressed with “how good of a lyricist” she is.

“Now you look like the old miserable auntie at the picnic that can’t stop showing her ass off trying to be young; you’re not that girl,” he said before branding her music “flop.”

That’s not all he said. Look below to see how he responded to the Petty vs. Offset news.
